The Broadview Heights Lions Club has been fortunate to be able to provide financial grants to young people, mainly from Broadview Heights, in pursuit of post high school education for over 20 years. This Spring we will again be awarding five (5) $1,000.00 grants through our Financial Grant Program being chaired by Lion Patricia Volk and Lion Jennifer Mahnic.
The financial grants are available to the following individuals;
All Broadview Heights (Residents) High School seniors, regardless of school they attend
All current college students who are residents of Broadview Heights regardless of which school they are attending
All graduating high school seniors who are NOT residents of Broadview Heights with a formal recommendation from a current Broadview Heights Lions Member
All current college students who are NOT residents of Broadview Heights with a formal recommendation from a current Broadview Heights Lions Member
Please note that any students that have received a Broadview Heights Lions Financial Grant twice in the past are not eligible.
All applicants must fill out the official application which can be found at the end of this page. Applicants can also contact Lion Jennifer Mahnic for an application. Applicants must answer all applicable questions and can use additional paper to complete if necessary. The applications must be legible and be handwritten in ink, typewritten or other word processing methods. Transcripts, supporting data and all other necessary information should be included with the application.
